Create a compelling visual asset that helps Rio Las Vegas’ Group Sales team effectively communicate the property’s conference and event capabilities to meeting planners, corporate clients, and convention organizers. With limited resources available to stage the full range of conference services and banquet experiences in a traditional production environment, the goal was to develop a high-impact promotional reel that captured the scale, energy, and versatility of Rio’s meetings and events offering while supporting the property’s positioning as a Destination by Hyatt.
To maximize production value while working within budget and time constraints, I leveraged existing event programming hosted at the property by our partners at Hyatt. By capturing authentic footage during a live event environment, we were able to showcase the conference experience in action—highlighting the scale of the venue, the quality of food and beverage service, and the dynamic atmosphere of Rio’s meeting spaces.
I developed the creative concept and storyboard to guide the narrative flow of the video, focusing on key themes that resonate with meeting planners: versatility, guest experience, hospitality, and the energy of a successful event.
Working closely with a video production team, I directed the shoot and oversaw the editing process to ensure the final product aligned with Rio’s brand identity and sales messaging. The copy and visual pacing were crafted to communicate both the property’s physical capabilities and the experience clients can expect when hosting events at Rio.
Once the video was completed, I implemented a distribution strategy designed to maximize its reach and impact. The sizzle reel was integrated across multiple channels, including the property website, LinkedIn, and targeted email communications to the Hyatt global sales force. It was also incorporated into the Group Sales team’s email signatures and adapted into shorter formats optimized for digital advertising campaigns.
The final sizzle reel became a versatile sales enablement tool used by the Group Sales team to elevate client presentations and communicate Rio’s conference capabilities more effectively.
By showcasing real event footage and emphasizing the energy and scale of the property’s meeting spaces, the video helped reinforce Rio’s repositioning as a revitalized conference destination within the Hyatt portfolio.
Its multi-channel distribution strategy ensured consistent visibility across sales presentations, digital marketing channels, and internal Hyatt communications, extending the value of the asset well beyond its initial production.
